The 2018 season is a little more than a week old, and it’s already been a roller coaster for the Yankees. Aaron Boone’s squad has a 5 - 4 record, but that doesn’t tell the whole story. Injuries demolished the team’s depth, while the elite bullpen has not been as advertised. In fact, many of the team’s losses fall on the shoulders of relief pitchers. At the same time, Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton already put on power displays, and Didi Gregorius might be the best shortstop in baseball. It’s been an eventful week, to say the least.
With that in mind, let’s take some questions for a mailbag! You may want to ask about the initial struggles or the injury pile up. Or you could ask about the scorching hot starts by Gregorius, Luis Severino, and Masahiro Tanaka. Any and all Yankees questions are welcome.
We’ll post our answers on Friday morning. Any submissions received by the night of April 12th will considered. You can leave your questions in the comment section below or by e-mail to pinstripealleyblog [at] gmail [dot] com. Thanks everyone!
