MLB.com | Bryan Hoch: CC Sabathia left yesterday’s game with a right hip injury. The extent of the injury is still unknown. We will keep you updated as this story develops. Also, this will be a quick and boring link dump because yesterday’s/today’s game was absolute pain and suffering and made me want them to implement that stupid “runner on 2B in extra innings” rule. I’m kidding. I do not want that. I’m just tired and hungry.

Newsday | Laura Albanese: Oh yeah, Jacoby Ellsbury news. He’s also still hurt. It might not be as bad as we think, but who knows. In any case, it’ll still be a bit before he resumes his rehab from his other injury. Until he gets another injury and let’s be honest, very few people actually care.

New York Daily News: Aaron Boone has been impressed by the defense of the Kraken. It’s hard to disagree with him. Gary Sanchez has looked much better behind the plate. Well, until he got cramps yesterday in the Top of the 14h. We hope it’s just cramps. The way this season has started, who the bunt knows.

New York Post | Dan Martin: Dellin Betances has actually looked a tad better lately. That’s good. Honestly, the entire bullpen worked exactly like it is supposed to work during last night’s exercise in pain. That is, except for Jonathan Holder. He looked bad. He should not be on this team by the time this link dump is scheduled to post.

And then there’s this.

And finally, this.

Long time PSAers will know this photo.
