After winning the first two games of the season in Toronto, the Yankees suffered their first setback yesterday, losing game three. It's baseball, it happens. However, don't overlook that 161-1 is still in play.
To be more serious, the Yankees can still win the opening series by taking the finale today. They'll send Sonny Gray to the mound, as they try to take three out of four against the Blue Jays. Yes, he probably only started the fourth game as opposed to the third game to try and split up the handedness of the starters. That being said, being able to wait until game four to give Gray a start is a nice little luxury.
The Blue Jays will send out Marcus Stroman, who will be making the start after dealing with some shoulder issues in spring training. Stroman has had some success against the Yankees over the years, but last year's team had some decent results against him. The Yankees have also made some upgrades in the meantime, so we'll see what happens.
