Newsday | Erik Boland: Giancarlo Stanton is a Yankee. Aaron Judge is also a Yankee. According to CC Sabathia, neither of those two aforementioned big baseball boys might be the best hitters on the team. That honor goes to Gary Sanchez. CC says that the Kraken reminds him of a young Manny Ramirez, which is pretty high praise. It’s pretty cool that we have Sanchez in addition to Stanton and Judge. Oh, and Greg Bird. And Sir Didi Gregorius. Yay.

MLB.com | Glenn Sattell: The starting rotation looks pretty well set. It’s good to have depth though, as injuries can and often do happen. One pitcher showing his stuff this spring is Domingo German. Scouts have been impressed by what they’ve seen so far. Boone has been impressed by his changeup and breaking ball command, but says that German needs to work on his fastball command a bit. Athletic writer Marc Carig had this to say.

New York Post | Lia Eustachewich: In an interesting bit of news, a ticket resale company is suing the Yankees. ASC Ticket Co. claims that the Yankees rescinded on 52 season tickets they bought so that the Yankees could “hoard the tickets for themselves and charge artificially inflated prices.” The Yankees are not allowed to sell these 52 season ticket seats until March 26th, the court date.

New York Post | George A. King III: Tyler Wade is competing for a spot on the big league roster at either 2B or 3B. After yesterday’s game against the Mets, he got some praise from the grittiest and guttiest Yankee veteran, Brett Gardner. GGBG said that Wade reminded him of him, but with a lot more talent. Wade heard of the praise and mentioned how Gardner has done nothing but help him, taking Wade under his wing. I love these types of stories.

ESPN.com | Wright Thompson: On Tuesday, it was reported that former Yankee legend Ichiro Suzuki had signed with the Mariners, his first home in the MLB. This article from Wright Thompson gives us an in-depth look at the type of player and person Ichiro is. Please give this a read. It is absolutely worth your time.
