Spring training 2018: Yankees (SS) @ Braves

The Yankees typically have a couple of split squad days each spring, but there ended up being just one on the schedule this year. Today, some of the Yankees will travel to Kissimmee to play the Braves, and the rest will stay home to take on the Blue Jays. We’ll have two separate game threads and recaps, so you can discuss all of the action. Luis Severino will be making his final start before Opening Day opposite of Julio Teheran.

Prior to today’s games, the Yankees made another roster decision and optioned Domingo German to Triple-A. That means that Jonathan Holder has officially won a roster spot.
