MLB: Spring Training-Philadelphia Phillies at New York Yankees
Making friends!
Butch Dill-USA TODAY Sports | Coley Harvey: Aaron Judge will appear in his first spring training game tomorrow. Thankfully, this game will actually be televised. That’s good. Sadly, Judge is still not feeling 100% since his shoulder surgery this offseason. That’s bad. However, he says he is expecting to feel 100% by Opening Day. That’s good. Opening Day contains potassium benzoate. | Bryan Hoch: You can tell baseball is back because we’re already talking about injuries. Clint Frazier suffered one this weekend after making a leaping catch. He has been diagnosed with a mild concussion. Frazier will miss a few days as the Yankees follow concussion protocol. This has not deterred the Red Thunder from his quest to make the main roster out of spring training. Godspeed, Frazier.

New York Post | George A. King III: The Yankees played the Phillies on Sunday afternoon. Rob Thomson found himself looking at the Yankees’ dugout from the opposing side for the first time in 28 years. Thomson was one of the candidates that interviewed to be the new Yankees’ manager. The Yankees went with Aaron Boone and Thomson provides some reasons why they did. Thus far, the Yankees’ are undefeated with Boone at the helm. Obviously they made the correct decision. | Bryan Hoch: Russell Wilson is living his pinstriped dreams right now. Yesterday, the Seattle Seahawks QB took batting practice with some players and did pretty well for himself. Six home runs is not too shabby. Wilson will not be appearing in any spring training games due to his obligations to the Seahawks. Aaron Judge got a chance to talk with him and the two got along well. Personally, I can’t look at Wilson without seeing him throwing that pick that notched another Super Bowl victory for the Patriots. That’s because I’m a very bitter Bills fan.

New York Daily News | Bill Madden: Former Yankees’ GM Bob Watson is currently battling kidney disease. From the sound of things, he is prepared for the worst. I don’t really have any words here, except that you should read this. All our best wishes to the Bull.
