NY Post | Ken Davidoff: At 8 AM this morning, the Seibu Lions will post their starter, Yusei Kikuchi. The 27-year-old lefty posted a 3.08 ERA and 153 strikeouts last season in 163.2 innings. Kikuchi could be an interesting dark horse candidate for the Yankees to sign this offseason. According to Erik Boland, the team’s interest is not currently high.

SNY.tv | Andy Martino: If the rumors are to be believed, the Yankees are definitely more in on Manny Machado than Bryce Harper at the moment. Martino’s sources have indicated to him that many execs around the league believe Machado will be a Yankee by the time Opening Day 2019 rolls around.

NJ.com | Mike Rosenstein: According to Jon Heyman, Patrick Corbin expects to have his decision soon. Corbin has been connected to the Yankees for a long time now, and him joining the Yankees just makes too much sense for the Bombers. Check out Jake Devin’s piece on Corbin from yesterday if you haven’t already.

MLB Trade Rumors | Mark Polishuk: The Jean Segura-Carlos Santana trade actually has connections to the Yankees. Jon Morosi reported the Yankees were interested in packaging Segura in the James Paxton deal, and Mark Feinsand recently wrote about how Carlos Santana to the Yankees makes sense. These players won’t end up with the Yankees now, but the Phillies adding Segura might take them out of the Manny Machado sweepstakes. This trade may actually be a blessing for the Yankees.
