Jon Heyman anticipates the other two teams to offer more money, but thinks Machado might take a cheaper deal to become a Yankee.

He could be the first player unanimously voted in, though that is unlikely. One Red Sox writer said he won’t vote for Mo and took an issue with saves and closers both. Instead of sending in a blank ballot or a no vote, though, the writer decided not to turn in a ballot.
