Pinstripe Alley open thread - 12/23/18

After a loud week of courting Manny Machado, things have quieted down in terms of Yankees’ rumors. With the holidays upon us, that’s not the worst thing. There are times that it’s nice to have a GM that’s not like the Mariners’ Jerry Dipoto, who’s liable to flip players on holidays, late at night, or from a hospital bed.

In any event, it’s Sunday, which is fun if you’re into stretch-run football. The Giants and Jets are playing, too, the former against the Colts, the latter versus the Packers. Those games feature little in the way of stakes for the New York teams, unfortunately.
