It’s now the week after the winter meetings, and the hot stove may cool off just a bit. The winter meetings themselves weren’t all that eventful, in truth, but the was still the usual wealth of rumors. Perhaps teams will ease back a bit and the rumblings will simmer down as we lurch towards the holidays.
Elsewhere in sports, we’ve got a full NBA/NHL slates, including the Knicks hosting the Suns in the second game of a back-to-back, as well as the Islanders heading to Colorado to take on the Avalanche.
