It’s the weekend, and Sonny Gray has yet to be traded. The rumor de jour has been Gray’s imminent departure from New York, as GM Brian Cashman has been unusually candid about his efforts to move the right-hander after his disastrous 2018 season. Perhaps we’ll see more movement on that front tonight.
Elsewhere in New York sports, the Rangers are the only team in action tonight. They host the Panthers at MSG at 7 EST as they try to continue what’s been a surprisingly competitive start. Knicks fans could also keep an eye on the Warriors-Mavericks game to see if anymore turmoil surrounding Kevin Durant and Draymond Green surfaces (yes, I’m among the many hoping Durant comes to New York).
