New York Times | Joel Sherman: Your best bet is probably on the Yankees making at least one big move at some point in the offseason. Maybe, it’s signing Manny Machado, or trading for Corey Kluber. One of the other connected names is Patrick Corbin, who is good, but not as headline-grabbing as some of the other names out there. However, what if the Yankees just went out and got all three of those names? It seems quite unlikely, but it would be interesting to see the Yankees become the embodiment of this gif again.

New York Daily News | Daily News Staff: While making a television appearance to promote his charity work, Brian Cashman went on the record saying that he would like to add pitching. Not exactly game-changing news, but it’s good to hear that he would like to go further than just bringing back CC Sabathia and probably sending Sonny Gray into space.

MLB Daily Dish | Patrick Karraker: One of those pitching options now potentially on the market is James Paxton. If the Mariners’ starter is dealt this offseason, there will be no shortage of teams that look into him, and here is a look at the Yankees and the rest of the teams that could potentially be interested.

ABC 7 NY: Lastly, for a bit of fun, here is video of the coverage of the parade following the 1996 World Series championship. It features the players, the grounds crew on a float, and some, uh, current-day newsmakers.
