So, the Red Sox won both games in Fenway to open the World Series with a 2-0 lead. The Dodgers had plenty of chances in both games and squandered them. It would behoove them to not get swept in Los Angeles, but it kind of feels like the series is headed that way.
The Dodgers will send Walker Buehler to the mound to start Game Three. He has had a few rough outings over his first postseason, but he stepped up in a big way in Game Seven of the NLCS and held the Brewers to just one run with seven strikeouts. Rick Porcello will get the start for Boston. Neither pitcher has ever faced the other team’s lineup, so it’ll be interesting to see who strikes first.
First pitch is scheduled for 8:09 ET and the game will be on FOX, per usual.
Do you think the Dodgers can salvage the series and push it back to Boston, or will the Red Sox be celebrating in LA?
