The one free agent the Yankees have to sign

There is roughly a week of baseball left before the offseason really kicks into gear. It’s time to start seriously thinking about the 2019 Yankees and what Brian Cashman can do over the next five months to improve the current squad. Since they reset their base tax rate by staying under the competitive balance threshold in 2018, they should have plenty of money to spend this year. That brings us to this week’s FanPost Friday prompt:

Who is the one free agent that the Yankees must sign?

Obviously the Yankees can—and probably will—sign multiple free agents, but what one player is at the top of your offseason wish list? Do you think the Bombers should focus on getting the best starting pitching help out there, or would your rather see them add a bat to the lineup like Manny Machado or Bryce Harper?
