Happy New Year from Pinstripe Alley!

Welcome to 2018, everyone! The Pinstripe Alley staff wants to take this time to wish you a very happy New Year. We sure had a lot of fun in 2017. The Yankees went on an improbably deep playoff run; Aaron Judge had a season for the ages; the trade deadline came with a flurry of activity; and the Yankees made a small trade to pick up some guy named Giancarlo Stanton. He might be a keeper!

You stuck with us through it all, and for that we are grateful. This blog wouldn’t be such a successful community without you. We’re looking forward to another great year; we have a lot of exciting plans up our sleeves. Let’s hope the Yankees have a few more moves left, too.

So, if you happen to have some down time this New Year’s Day, please feel free to use this as an open thread. Here are a few questions to get the conversation started:

1. Did you make any resolutions? If so, care to share?

2. How did you ring in the new year?

3. What was the best part of 2017?

4. What are you looking forward to most in 2018?

5. Does anybody actually know what Auld Lang Syne means?

We’ll be back with regularly scheduled content with tomorrow morning’s Around the Empire. Enjoy your day!
