Shane Spencer...

It’s time for another FanPost Friday prompt. The point of these is to take the opportunity to shine the light on members of the PSA community. Last week, I asked our readers to share their favorite current Yankees. He may have missed most of the season due to injury, but Greg Bird is still the word. Want to share your favorite Yankee? Let us know here.

Here’s this week’s prompt:

What are your favorite September Yankees moments?

Hopefully the Yankees will create some new favorite September memories over the next few weeks, but for now, let’s reminisce about the past. Maybe your favorite September Yankee moment happened recently, like when Slade Heathcott hit a three-run homer against the Rays back in 2015. I remember actually yelling and jumping around my kitchen when that happened. Or maybe your favorite September memory is the time Shane Spencer hit three grand slams. Head over the FanPost section and share with us.

Check out our guide to using FanPosts and our FanPost tips for help getting started.

How will we select which FanPosts to promote to the front page? Some of it will be subjective. If you follow our tips linked above, you should find yourself on the right track. We will also be looking for FanPosts with comments and recommendations. Depending on the number of responses we get, receiving some recs on your post could separate your FanPost from the crowd. Additionally, if your post has a number of comments then it may have sparked some worthwhile discussions. These are just a few things we’ll be looking for when we decide which post(s) to promote on the front page. We are always on the lookout for new talent, and the FanPost section can be a great way to get our attention.

Submit your answer in the FanPost section before Friday (September 8th) for your post to be considered.
