The Yankees try to finish off a four month-delayed series win against the Royals

Bob DeChiara-USA TODAY Sports

Back in May, the Yankees took two of three from the Royals in New York before the series finale got rained out. Now exactly four months to the day after the game was supposed to be played, they finally make it up.

CC Sabathia will get the start on the mound for the Yankees. Last time out, Sabathia gave up two runs in six innings in a win against the Twins. The six innings made for his longest outing of the month, as he had been removed after 5.1 and 4.1 in his previous starts.

The Royals' starter will be Jakob Junis. The Rookie has made 14 starts and 18 total appearances this season and has been pretty solid. In his last four starts, he's given up just eight earned runs total.

You can catch today's games on YES at 1:00 PM ET. Go Yankees, go baseball.
