New York Yankees vs. Baltimore Orioles: Luis Severino vs. Gabriel Ynoa

New, comments

Severino takes the mound as the Yankees go for a third-straight win.

Adam Hunger-USA TODAY Sports

Thanks to last night's outburst from the offense, the Yankees opened their series against the Orioles in impressive fashion. The win kept them three back of Boston and allowed them to go up six games in the wild card race.Tonight, they look to gain ground in both races in game two against Baltimore.

Luis Severino will take the mound for the Yankees, coming off a seven-inning, one-run outing against the Rangers. Severino has been solid in his three previous outing against Baltimore this season, allowing six runs in 18.1 innings.

The Orioles' starter will be Gabriel Ynoa, who will be making his second start and seventh appearance of the season. He has average numbers for the season, but did throw two shutout innings in relief against the Yankees earlier this month.

First pitch will be at 7:05 ET and the game can be found on WPIX.
