Ask Pinstripe Alley: Yankees mailbag questions request

New, comments

Let’s have some questions and answers as the Yankees head down the stretch.

Ask Pinstripe Alley

With just three weeks remaining in the 2017 regular season, we’ve officially reached the stretch run. The Yankees sit 3.5 games behind the AL East leading Red Sox and hold a solid lead in the Wild Card race. It’s an exciting period for the team, which makes this an opportune time for a question and answer session.

Since our last mailbag, the Yankees have managed an 11 - 9 record. The Bombers won a big series against Boston, but also suffered a few crushing losses. In terms of offense, Aaron Judge rediscovered his power stroke, Gary Sanchez tormented opposing pitchers, and the cavalry arrived. As for pitching, Luis Severino entered the Cy Young discussion, Sonny Gray has been as advertised, and the bullpen continued their tightrope act.

As always, any and all questions are welcome. You may want to ask about the Red Sox Apple Watch scandal, the relief pitching problems, or the recent performances from the hot bats. You could also ask anything else that’s on your mind.

You may leave your questions in the comment section, or send them in an e-mail at pinstripealleyblog [at] gmail [dot] com. Any questions received by Friday night on September 15th will be eligible. Thanks!
