Last week I asked Pinstripe Alley readers to rank the Yankees’ trade deadline moves. The Sonny Gray trade ended up being the highest ranked, with the Jaime Garcia trade coming in second, and the Todd Frazier/David Robertson/Tommy Kahnle trade coming in last. Maybe fans will feel differently after the season ends.
Here is this week’s prompt:
What are the best and worst things about being a Yankees fan?
What do you think the best thing about being a Yankees fan is? All the rings? Your favorite players? For me personally, one of the best things about being a Yankees fan is simply that it led me to PSA. Although the community has changed over the years, I have made great friendships here. Yankees fans don’t grow on trees in California, after all. While you consider the best parts about being a Yankees fan, also tell us what you think the worst things are. Is it the problematic front office? Other Yankees fans? There are no wrong answers here.
Need some help getting started? Check out our FanPost tips.
How will we select which FanPosts to promote to the front page? Some of it will be subjective. If you follow our tips linked above, you should find yourself on the right track. We will also be looking for FanPosts with comments and recommendations. Depending on the number of responses we get, receiving some recs on your post could separate your FanPost from the crowd. Additionally, if your post has a number of comments then it may have sparked some worthwhile discussions. These are just a few things we’ll be looking for when we decide which post(s) to promote on the front page. We are always on the lookout for new talent, and the FanPost section can be a great way to get our attention.
Make sure you submit your answer in the FanPost section before Friday (August 11th) for your post to be considered.
