Red-hot Luis Severino looks to carry the Yankees struggling offense to a series split in the final game of a four-game set against Cleveland. The Yankees right hander hasn't allowed more than one earned run in four straight starts, but he'll need to be sharp once again unless the offense wakes up from its prolonged slump. Despite a win last night the bomber bats have not put up more than three runs in any of the past five games.
The Yankee offense will have no easy task as they run up against electric Cleveland right hander Carlos Carrasco. Carrasco is coming off a rare dud against the Red Sox but is once again having a fine season overall. Jason Kipnis returns for the Indians while Austin Romine is once again catching for the Yankees.
