The reinforcements have arrived. Aaron Hicks returned from injury a couple weeks ago, and now, Starlin Castro and Greg Bird have reentered the lineup. Yesterday was the first time in awhile the Yankees were essentially at full strength, and they won to notch their elusive 69th victory of the season.
They can secure a series victory with Masahiro Tanaka (4.86 ERA, 4.60 FIP) on the mound. He's pitched much better of late, with a 3.09 ERA in his last ten starts. Andrew Albers, a 31-year-old journeyman, will oppose Tanaka. This is just Albers' third start of the season. He's allowed five runs in 10 innings this year, and has a 4.32 ERA in 89.2 career innings.
The game begins at 1:05 EST and can be seen on the YES Network.
