Oh, 10pm games. We on the East Coast have missed thee.
The last month or so of baseball has been less than optimal for the Yankees, and it's deep enough in the season that the good teams in the American League should be starting to pull away from the pack. If the Bronx Bombers are one of those teams, now is the time to show it.
Tonight is a good place to start for the Yankees, as they'll have their best pitcher on the mound. Luis Severino has been excellent from the word go this season, and he's quickly become the most-anticipated starter in the rotation.
The Mariners counter with "King" Felix Hernandez, although his crown may be made of fool's gold. The former Cy Young winner has a 4.20 ERA and ugly 5.07 FIP in 2017 and will be making just his 11th start.
New Yankee Todd Frazier bats seventh and is at third, while Chase Headley will start at first.
First pitch at 10:10pm on YES and WFAN.
