I think Joe's philosophy of playing for tomorrow as opposed to winning today is hard to stomach. I hope that when he retires (because he will never be fired) we get a manager who does what it takes to keep his teams focused on winning and not accepting defeat so easily. I understand it's a long season but allowing the team to tank by losing so many one run games especially to sub par teams like the Oakland A's tells me he is not aggressive enough. He has to play the second half aggressively with the players he has for the remainder of the season. WE PLAY TODAY, WE WIN TODAY... remember those days Joe.
