New York Yankees at Houston Astros: Jordan Montgomery vs. Francis Martes

New, comments

It's Red Thunder time.

Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

Is it a stretch to say that, outside of Opening Day, this is the most anticipated game of the season? I don't think so. Top prospect Clint Frazier is making his major league debut. Red Thunder will bat ninth and play right field. We've been waiting for this day since the Andrew Miller trade last summer. The Yankees have called up a number of prospects this season, but none with the cache of Frazier. I hope you're ready for some fun.

Tonight's pitching matchup also features a pair of rookies. Jordan Montgomery looks to continue his strong season. He's been particularly impressive over the last month. As for the Astros, right-hander Francis Martes gets the ball. Martes is one of the top pitching prospects in baseball, so don't be fooled by his numbers. His stuff is quite good.

First pitch is scheduled for 7:15 PM and can be seen on Fox.
