Big league debuts are fun! It has been a week of those for the Yankees, with Tyler Wade and Miguel Andujar making an instant impact in their first taste of MLB action. We get to do it again tonight with Dustin Fowler called up earlier today from Triple-A and making the start in the outfield.
Even though Andujar's call-up lasted just one night, it's such a change of pace from what the last few years of being a Yankee fan has been like. This team has talent for days in the minor leagues. We're finally getting to see it bear fruit where it matters.
Hopefully Fowler can produce the same kind of spark his RailRiders teammates did the last couple nights. Maybe Judge will hit one to the moon. Having that to look forward to each game is a nice change of pace.
