Yesterday's loss to the White Sox was annoying and dumb and the opposite of fun. The Yankees will try to rebound from that in the third game of this four game series against the Chicago White Sox. Masahiro Tanaka will take the mound against Carlos Rodon. Tanaka pitched an absolute gem in his last outing. The Yankees, and I would assume all Yankee fans everywhere, are hoping that Tanaka can follow that amazing performance with a string of consistent solid outings.
On the offensive side, there are some new faces in the starting lineup. Miguel Andujar was called up from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. He will DH tonight. Tyler Wade will get the start in left field. He came into last night's game and went 0-for-2 with a walk and a strikeout. The Yankees are playing the kids tonight, ladies and gentlemen. It's lit, as the kids say.
