New York Yankees at Chicago White Sox: Luis Severino vs. Jose Quintana

Maybe the Yankees will win two in a row!

John Hefti-USA TODAY Sports

Believe it or not, the Yankees haven't won two games in a row since a pair of victories on June 11th and 12th. The second half of the month hasn't been kind to the team. Over that span, the team has lost a lot. I'm talking both in terms of games and players. Tonight's lineup is noticeably absent of Starlin Castro (Grade 1 right hamstring strain) and Matt Holliday (allergic reaction). A win tonight would sure go a long way in cheering us all up.

Tonight's pitching matchup figures to be a good one. Luis Severino has been the Yankees' most impressive starter all season. He faces off against Jose Quintana, who's been the subject of trade rumors for the better part of six months now. The Yankees will get a close look at the left-hander. Let's just hope he doesn't make too good of an impression.

First pitch is scheduled for 8:10 PM and you can watch on YES.
