New York Yankees vs. Texas Rangers: Luis Cessa vs. Austin Bibens-Dirkx

Let's keep the winning going

Butch Dill-USA TODAY Sports

The Yankees came away with a big walk-off victory against the Texas Rangers yesterday. Ronald Torreyes had the game-winning hit that gave the Yankees just their fifth win in two weeks. It's been bleak recently but hopefully the team is on the verge of a turnaround.

In an announcement that came late last night, the Yankees have finally designated Chris Carter for assignment and have called up Tyler Austin in his place. Hopefully he can have a little bit more luck against major league hitting.
