Last week I asked PSA readers what they thought the biggest surprises of the Yankees’ season had been so far. One submission mentioned Masahiro Tanaka, and I think we can all agree that no one expected Tanaka to be the worst starter on the team. There have been plenty of happy surprises, though. The Yankees have spent some time at the top of the division, and players including Aaron Judge, Luis Severino, and Michael Pineda have exceeded expectations. Hopefully the team will continue to surprise us (in a good way).
Here’s this week’s prompt:
Who is your favorite underrated Yankees prospect?
We are all familiar with Gleyber Torres, Clint Frazier, James Kaprielian, etc. Tell us about your favorite prospect who isn’t ranked in the top ten. Make sure to explain what you like about them, and whether you think they’ll stay with the team and/or end up in the majors.
How will we select which FanPosts to promote to the front page? Some of it will be subjective. If you follow our tips linked above, you should find yourself on the right track. We will also be looking for FanPosts with comments and recommendations. Depending on the number of responses we get, receiving some recs on your post could separate your FanPost from the crowd. Additionally, if your post has a number of comments then it may have sparked some worthwhile discussions. These are just a few things we’ll be looking for when we decide which post(s) to promote on the front page. We are always on the lookout for new talent, and the FanPost section can be a great way to get our attention.
Head over to the FanPost section of the site to submit your answers before Friday (June 23rd).
