The Yankees are the hottest team in baseball right now. They've won six in a row, a streak that dates back to the Blue Jays series. A win tonight would make this a perfect road trip. Beat the Reds and then enjoy the day off tomorrow. I like the sound of that.
In order to get that win, the Yankees need CC Sabathia to straighten things out. Over his last three starts, the big left-hander owns a 10.43 ERA. His peripherals aren't much better. He has a 7.36 FIP and a sky-high 3.07 HR/9. It would be nice to see Sabathia start to things around. As for the Reds, right-hander Tim Adleman gets the start. He's pitched to a 4.22 ERA (4.87 FIP) over 21.1 innings this season.
First pitch is scheduled for 7:10 PM - although rain is in the forecast - and you can watch on FS1.
