Last week’s FanPost prompt focused on the best and worst things about attending a Yankees game. Cost stood out as the worst thing for one fan, while atmosphere was one of the best things. Don’t forget that you can always go back and give us your opinion if you missed the chance the first time. All of the recent FanPost submissions can be found here.
Here is this week’s prompt:
What is your favorite Derek Jeter memory?
In case you somehow didn’t know, this week is Derek Jeter Week on YES Network. The special coverage leads up to Derek Jeter Night at Yankee Stadium on May 14th. During a commemorative pregame ceremony, Jeter’s number will be retired, and he will be honored with a plaque in Monument Park. So, what better time to reflect on Jeter’s 20-year Yankees career? Share your favorite Jeter memory (or two) with us in the FanPost section.

How will we select which FanPosts to promote to the front page? Some of it will be subjective. If you follow our tips linked above, you should find yourself on the right track. We will also be looking for FanPosts with comments and recommendations. Depending on the number of responses we get, receiving some recs on your post could separate your FanPost from the crowd. Additionally, if your post has a number of comments then it may have sparked some worthwhile discussions. These are just a few things we’ll be looking for when we decide which post(s) to promote on the front page. We are always on the lookout for new talent, and the FanPost section can be a great way to get our attention.
Make sure you head over to the FanPost section of the site to submit your answers before Friday (May 12th).
