If momentum really is only as good as today's starting pitcher, momentum may be on the Yankees' side heading into play today. After a week of excellent starts, the team's best pitcher thus far takes the mound as the Yankees try to win another series in a Sunday matinee.

Michael Pineda has posted a 3.35 ERA and the highest K% of his career so far this season, and after four straight starts of at least six innings, all eyes are on him to keep the ball rolling on his terrific start to the season.

The Athletics counter with Andrew Triggs, making his tenth start of the season. A classic "finesse" pitcher, Triggs won't blow the ball by you, in fact, he tends to sit around 89 mph with his fastball. He gets by with good location, lots of ground balls and preventing home runs.

The lineup is unchanged from yesterday, and first pitch is at 1:05 pm, on YES and WFAN.
