So, the Yankees are looking to get back on track against the Oakland Athletics today after losing last night's affair 4-1. It wasn't all bad news, as Masahiro Tanaka struck out a career high 13 men, but the cause of concern was the offense, which has stumbled as of late.
They'll look to rebound with CC Sabathia on the mound, who may have allowed four or more runs in four straight starts from April 21st to May 9th, but has allowed just one earned run in his last two. He'll face Jharel Cotton, the 25-year-old right-hander with uneven results but an absolutely wicked change that the Yankees will have to watch out for:

Lineup wise, the only notable detraction is Chase Headley, replaced by Ronald Torreyes at third base. Headley has been an absolute zero at the plate for the past month, so there's a good chance Torreyes will get more reps while Headley tries to regain form. Who knows if he will. Nonetheless, I hope everyone enjoys their beautiful Saturday afternoon, and go Yankees, go baseball.
