The Yankees are coming off of a remarkably successful home stand. They won eight out of nine games in the Bronx. That will play just fine. Tonight, they kick off a six-game road trip that will take them through Pittsburgh and Boston. The last time the Yankees played at PNC Park, Darrell Rasner started the series opener. Yikes.
Tonight the Yankees will send a more qualified pitcher to the mound. CC Sabathia, the team's most consistent starter so far, takes the ball. He squares off against Tyler Glasnow, a consensus top-prospect heading into the season. That makes for a fun matchup.
First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 PM. You can watch the game on YES or MLB.tv.
