It is time for the latest FanPost Friday prompt of the week. We only received one response to last week’s prompt about the most overrated player in the AL East, but I enjoyed the debate between Jose Bautista and Dustin Pedroia that ensued in the comment section.

Here is this week’s prompt:

What should the Yankees’ batting order look like this season?

Brett Gardner and Jacoby Ellsbury typically sit at the top of the lineup, but there has been a lot of debate about whether they should be separated. Greg Bird has hit third in three of the last five spring training games, but will he stay there? How does the loss of Didi Gregorius impact the lineup? Put together your ideal lineup (with or without Gregorius) and tell us why you think it is the team’s best option.

How will we select which FanPosts to promote to the front page? Some of it will be subjective. If you follow our tips linked above, you should find yourself on the right track. We will also be looking for FanPosts with comments and recommendations. Depending on the number of responses we get, receiving some recs on your post could separate your FanPost from the crowd. Additionally, if your post has a number of comments then it may have sparked some worthwhile discussions. These are just a few things we’ll be looking for when we decide which post(s) to promote on the front page.

Make sure you head over to the FanPost section of the site to submit your answers before Friday (March 31st).
