Greg Bird, Gary Sanchez, Aaron Judge and others are all having a solid spring. Some of the other hyped prospects, like Gleyber Torres, are also showing what a promising future the Yankees’ organization could have. This is good.

Fowler’s name can be mentioned in the above paragraph with other hyped prospects that are doing well. Joe Girardi has certainly been impressed by the young center fielder. MLB.com | Danny Knobler: While the youts/yutes show what they can do in spring training, current Yankees’ SS and best after victory tweeter Didi Gregorius is doing well to help lead Team Netherlands to the WBC championship. In five games, Didi is hitting .429 with five extra base hits and eight RBI. Start spreading the news. Here’s hoping Sir Didi brings some of that back to the Bronx with him.
New York Post | Dan Martin: The battle for the rotation continues onward. One name potentially in the mix is Jordan Montgomery. Girardi has his eye on the young pitcher. If not directly out of spring training, his name is definitely in the mix as a potential future call-up.
