Spring training 2017: Yankees vs Tigers game thread

After a strong performance yesterday on both sides of the ball, the Yankees are back in action at Steinbrenner Field against the Tigers this afternoon. Masahiro Tanaka makes his third start of the spring as he prepares for Opening Day.

The Yankees’ power offense has been on display to this point in spring with Chase Headley and Aaron Judge both going deep in the win over the Phillies on Friday. Hopefully that is a trend that continues as games that actually count get closer and closer.

Daniel Norris gets the start for Detroit, giving the Yankees a chance to use a lineup against left-handed pitchers. With the game taking place in Tampa, there is a good chance to see a few regulars in the lineup.
