Ask Pinstripe Alley: Yankees mailbag questions request

It is time for another edition of our Yankees mailbag. It has been a few weeks since our last Ask PSA, and since then the Yankees have signed Chris Carter and publicly trashed Dellin Betances.

On the plus side, spring training has finally started! Real baseball games are just around the corner. The Yankees will play their first spring training game on Friday against the Phillies. The WBC will start shortly thereafter, with the first games beginning on March 6th.

Nothing too interesting has happened in spring training yet, though we did hear that Mason Williams and Tyler Austin are both injured. Austin can’t resume any baseball activities for six weeks, making the Carter signing look better and better. Maybe Greg Bird will feel less pressure with Austin out of the running for the first base competition.
