MLB.com | Bryan Hoch: Aaron Judge didn’t do all that much last year. Sure, he won the AL Rookie of the Year award. He didn’t win the AL MVP award though. Perhaps he did lead the AL in dingers. He didn’t lead ALL of baseball though. No, that achievement belongs to newest Yankee Giancarlo Stanton. It makes sense that Judge feels that he has something to prove in 2018. Maybe if he had done more in 2017, he wouldn’t feel that way. What a waste of a season, amirite???

New York Daily News | Mike Lupica: The Yankees are back. Well, not really. Pitchers and catchers haven’t even reported yet. The Yankees are back in spirit. With the acquisition of Giancarlo Stanton and the promise of what else is to come, it feels as if the ol’ Evil Empire Yankees of old have returned. The Bronx Bombers that make the theme song lyric “they’re gonna learn to feel the Yankees” ring true. That doesn’t mean they’ll immediately win the World Series. It doesn’t mean they’ll even make the playoffs this year. It’s just a feeling, really. And it feels pretty good.

Cut4 | Chris Landers: Yesterday was Christmas. I hope it was a great one for you all. Yesterday was also former Yankee legend Rickey Henderson’s birthday. I hope it was also a great one for you all. If you are a fan of Rickey Henderson, please give this article a read.

Sir Didi Gregorius is the best.
