MLB.com | Bryan Hoch: The Yankees have brought Phil Nevin in to their new coaching staff to serve as the team’s new third-base coach. While most are probably apathetic towards a third-base coach’s hiring, there’s one person who is excited: Phil Nevin. He says that joining the Yankees’ coaching staff is “something special” and he’s looking forward to the 2018 season.

MLB.com | Manny Randhawa: Yesterday, Greg Kirkland of Greg Kirkland fame talked about Didi Gregorius and how he’s the best human being on the planet. WELL I’M HERE TO TELL YOU THAT GREG KIRKLAND IS RIGHT. After the season, Gregorius actually returned home to Curacao for offseason training. Here’s a list of the “Top 20 New York sports stars” because that’s a list that you absolutely need. There are six Yankees on this list including new Yankee, Giancarlo Stanton.
