A look at what the Yankees might give up for Gerrit Cole; Mitch Moreland signs a two-year, $13 million contract with Boston; all the 2017 Yankee dingers because there is no other news

MLB: Winter Meetings
Look, I’ve got nothing. NOTHING! LEAVE ME ALONE, YOU VULTURES!

New York Post | George A. King III: The Yankees want Gerrit Cole. The Pirates want some of the Yankees’ best prospects for Gerrit Cole. This article goes into whom the Yankees could give up for Cole not named Gleyber Torres or Estevan Florial. It also mentions that the Astros are interested in Gerrit, but the Yankees have better pieces to give the Pirates. It’s pretty much a waiting game at this point. As we all know, the waiting game sucks and we should be playing Hungry Hungry Hippo.

Fangraphs | Jeff Sullivan: The Boston Red Sox have finally responded to the Yankees’ signing of Giancarlo Stanton. Took them long enough. They re-signed Mitch Moreland to a two-year, $13 million dollar contract. Quake in fear everyone. Snark aside, this most likely means that they will not pursue Eric Hosmer and instead focus their efforts on J.D. Martinez. They might even try and trade away Hanley Ramirez. Perhaps they’ll concede right now and just abandon Fenway Park to the R.O.U.S.es. Anyway, If you want a look at how Red Sox fans are reacting to this, please check the responses to this tweet.

All 2017 Yankees Home Runs: Okay, there’s literally no other Yankee news at this point. Nothing really really worthwhile that pertains to us either. So I give you dingers. Literally all the 2017 dingers. Please enjoy and pity Kunj Shah for tomorrow if nothing happens.
