It’s no secret that the Yankees are in search of a new manager. Last week I asked who Pinstripe Alley readers who they’d like to see fill the position. One reader suggested Willie Randolph, and another suggested our very own Greg Kirkland. I think Greg is a lock.

Here’s this week’s prompt:

Which free agents should the Yankees target?

The Yankees have money coming off the books, but they are also looking to get under the luxury tax threshold. There are definitely a few areas where the team could stand to improve. If nothing else, the postseason showed that the Yankees need a legitimate designated hitter. The Yankees will also need to add an arm to the rotation. Should they bring CC Sabathia back? What about Todd Frazier? It seems increasingly likely that Shohei Otani will be posted and the Yankees (and every other team) are interested in him. Head over to the FanPost section and let us know which free agents you’d like to see the team sign.

How will we select which FanPosts to promote to the front page? Some of it will be subjective. If you follow our tips, you should find yourself on the right track. We will also be looking for FanPosts with comments and recommendations. Depending on the number of responses we get, receiving some recs on your post could separate your FanPost from the crowd. Additionally, if your post has a number of comments then it may have sparked some worthwhile discussions. These are just a few things we’ll be looking for when we decide which post(s) to promote on the front page. We are always on the lookout for new talent, and the FanPost section can be a great way to get our attention.

Submit your answer in the FanPost section before Friday (November 17th) for your post to be considered.
