World Series Game Two Open Thread: Rich Hill vs. Justin Verlander

The Dodgers took Game One last night. Can they extend their series lead?

The Fall Classic continues tonight with Game Two from Chavez Ravine. The Dodgers won the first game thanks to a combination of power hitting and pitching. Clayton Kershaw carved the Astros’ lineup into pieces. On the other side of the ball, Chris Taylor and Justin Turner carried Los Angeles to victory with a pair of booming home runs. Plus, it all took place in one of the shortest World Series games in history. Not a whole lot to dislike there!

Tonight’s game features another strong pitching matchup. Justin Verlander, fresh off a dominant ALCS, will take on Rich Hill. I don’t know about you, but it would sure be nice to see Verlander get hit after pitching to a 0.56 ERA over 16 innings against the Bombers. As for Hill, it’s easy to root for him. How could you not support this legend with the 2014 Yankees?

First pitch is scheduled for 8:09 PM and you can watch on Fox. Enjoy!
