Well, here we are. I’m sure quite a few Yankees fans expected this day to be different, but it came nonetheless. Clayton Kershaw will face Dallas Keuchel in Game One of the 2017 World Series, and here’s one horrible thought:

Anyway, try to enjoy the game from a neutral perspective. It’s going to be 102 degrees in Los Angeles, which is why some have been calling this the season of “Hotumn.” Hopefully you’re all watching from a relatively cool location, and I’d say the open thread is even cooler. Talk about whatever you like, and let’s hope Yasiel Puig hits a Keuchel pitch to the moon.
