The Yankees are back in Houston to face the Astros in Game 6 of the ALCS. Luis Severino will face off against Justin Verlander.

You might not be aware of this, but the Yankees are one win away from going to the World Series. This is thanks to an incredible three games at Yankee Stadium. The pitching shut the Astros' offense down. The Yankees' offense did work. Boy did they do work. They even managed to score runs off of Dallas Keuchel in Game 5, which pinstripe science had thus far deemed impossible. They will have to do the same against Justin Verlander tonight.

Justin Verlander pitched 9 innings in Game 2, holding the Yankees to just a single solitary run. Opposing him will be Luis Severino, who only lasted 4 innings due to an injury concern. Due to the efforts Masahiro Tanaka and Tommy Kahnle in Game 5, the bullpen is well rested. I don't know about you, but I think it'd be pretty neat if the Yankees won by like 10 runs tonight. Just a thought.

One more win, Yankees. One more win. Let's do this.

go yankees go you are #1
