MLB.com | Bryan Hoch: MLBPipeline.com released their Top 100 Prospects of 2017 list last night on MLBN. If you are a fan of the New York Yankees, and one hopes that you are, you will probably be pleased by this release. The Yankees had seven prospects in the top 100, tied with the Atlanta Braves for the most prospects in the top 100. Gleyber Torres was ranked the 3rd best prospect overall. Yayber! Clint Frazier ranked 24th, Blake Rutherford ranked 37th, Aaron Judge was ranked 45th, Jorge Mateo ranked 47th, James Kaprielian ranked 58th, and Justus Sheffield ranked 79th. Talk about stocked.

NJ.com | Brendan Kuty: The Yankees 2017 starting rotation is a mystery wrapped in an enigma with melted swiss on top and served with a side dish of pickles. Luis Severino will have another chance of rejoining that rotation regardless of his horrid 2016 season. Severino has been working on his mechanics in the Dominican Republic, even getting advice from Pedro Martinez. You might remember that Pedro Martinez was good at pitching the baseballs. Here’s hoping he puts it all together.

Also, this is apparently a thing. Thoughts?
