MLB.com | Bryan Hoch: The Yankees’ youth movement is moving youthfully towards the Bronx in 2017. Chase Headley, one of the non-youths, is looking to transform his decaying form into HEAD-RA: THE EVER VETERAN one of the veteran leaders of the clubhouse. With McCann, Teixeira, A-Rod, and Beltran no longer on the team, he is hoping to step up with sage advice for the younger players.

MLB.com | Mike Rosenbaum: It’s time for the 2017 Prospect Watch. The prospect watch has become a lot more fun recently. That’s probably because the Yankees have good prospects that are fun to watch. In this Top 10 SS Prospect list, the Yankees’ own Gleyber Torres tops the list at #1. Some would say that Gleyber is good. Jorge Mateo also made the list at #8, which is not too shabby. It’s nice to have talent.

NJ.com | Brendan Kuty: There are more prospects lists on the way. ESPN’s Keith Law has started unveiling his own Top 100 prospect list in small increments. On that list, at 44, is Aaron Judge. Law says that The Law has “real 30 home-run power” but needs to cut down on his strikeouts. Justus Sheffield was on this list at #88 as well.More of this list will be released soon.
