Ask Pinstripe Alley

It is time for another edition of our Yankees mailbag. It has been roughly a month since our last Ask PSA, and that ran right around the time that the Yankees signed Matt Holliday. Since then, the Yankees have also signed Aroldis Chapman, and traded Nick Goody to the Indians.

With six weeks left before pitchers and catchers report to spring training, it remains to be seen whether the roster will stay as it currently is. Brian Cashman has already indicated that the Yankees are pretty much out of spending money, so it is unlikely that they will dip into the free agent market again unless it is for a cheap pitcher. On the other hand, the only substantial trade has been the one that sent Brian McCann to the Astros. Maybe Cashman has a few more tricks up his sleeve.

While we wait for something to happen, feel free to send in all of your Yankees questions. Anything pertaining to the 2016 season, potential offseason moves, the 2017 season, or anything else Yankee-related is fair game. You can submit your questions in the comment section below, or you can submit your questions via email at pinstripealleyblog [at] gmail dot com. Responses will likely run over the weekend, so anything received prior to Sunday will be considered. Thanks!
