Congratulations to the RailRiders for winning the Triple-A Championship Game against the Padres’ Triple-A team! Surprisingly enough, Chris Parmelee was the offensive hero of this game. The RailRiders scored all three of their runs in the very first inning after Payton and Frazier both singled, then Parmelee launched a home run off of Walker Lockett. Those three runs ended up being enough to give the RailRiders the victory. Montgomery also put together a great outing on the mound, and all three relievers combined to pitch four clean innings.

No surprise here, Parmelee won the MVP award.
